Pearl Market | The Temple of Heaven is a historical site in central Beijing reminding onlookers of ancient times when the emperor offered sacrifices to Heaven. The early ceremonies parallel the Judeo-Christian concepts in Genesis. In the early morning , hundred of Senior Citizens can be found in the surrounding park exercising, dancing, playing ancient instruments, and participating in other social activities. |

| The primary purpose of this trip is an educational experience for students enrolled in ECON4073/MGMT 4073/MKT 4103. Class meetings are Tuesday afternoons during the Spring Semester. Maximum student enrollment is 30 for the course and 40 total participants on the trip. |
